Guia Migrante PT works without a personal account. This policy explains what is stored when you browse the portal, send a message or arrive through a campaign.
You do not need an account, we do not sell data to advertisers and we do not use persistent identifiers to follow people across pages or services.
The form allows an optional name and email, together with the selected subject and message. The language, source page inside the portal, date/time and internal message status are also stored for administration.
The Guide does not store the IP address or user-agent in its message database. Message content is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
The Guide uses its own limited analytics system to understand useful pages, language usage, completed contact submissions and campaign effectiveness.
To attribute a contact submission later in the same browsing session to the campaign that brought the visit, only the campaign's UTM labels may be kept temporarily in browser sessionStorage until that session ends. No user or device identifier is created.
We may also count clicks to official sources, storing only the destination hostname. Advertising cookies, persistent IDs, IP addresses, user-agent strings and contact-form content are not stored in analytics.
Retention: analytics events are deleted after 90 days and administrative reports show aggregated data.
Like any website, the hosting and network provider may process technical information required to deliver pages, mitigate attacks and keep the service available, including IP address, request time and connection characteristics.
This infrastructure processing is separate from the Guide's own analytics database, where IP addresses are not stored.
Some features use local or session browser storage to remember checklists, visual preferences, dates or, where applicable, the campaign labels described above. The installable version may also cache public files for better operation on weak connections.
These mechanisms do not create a Guide account and can be cleared from your browser's site data.
The Guide does not use advertising cookies or cookies intended to build behavioural profiles. The measurement system described above works without cookies and persistent identifiers.
When you open AIMA, gov.pt, Justice, Social Security, SNS or another external website, that service's privacy policy applies. The Guide does not control processing performed by those websites.
Contact-form data is used to receive, manage and, when you provide an email address, reply to the communication you initiated. Limited analytics data is used for operational security, portal improvement and aggregate assessment of content and campaign effectiveness.
Because name and email are optional, an anonymous message may not later be technically linkable to a specific person.
If new services, providers, behavioural advertising, cookies or other relevant processing are added, this policy must be reviewed before that use. The review date appears at the top of this page.
