gov.pt recommends registration at the health centre serving your area. For ordinary foreign-national registration, the service lists the user number, address and the indicated documents.

SNS 24 provides triage and referral. During longer waiting periods it may offer a callback.

Rights and duties
Users have rights to information, accompaniment and respect, and duties to cooperate, follow service rules and pay applicable charges.
Important: If there is an immediate risk to life or a serious emergency, do not wait for administrative guidance. Use emergency services. For non-emergencies, SNS 24 can refer appropriately.
